Chargesheet produced in Bhopal court against Bedi

The starlet, along with Salem, was accused of procuring passports from Bhopal on basis of fake documents in 2001.

A chargesheet was on Friday produced before a local court against Bollywood starlet and underworld don Abu Salem's girlfriend, Monica Bedi, in a fake passport case.

Judicial magistrate first class DK Dangi posted the case for hearing on October 16.

Bedi, who was brought from Hyderabad on Thursday night, appeared before the court through video conferencing facility from the central jail, due to security concerns.

The starlet, along with Salem, was accused of procuring passports from Bhopal on basis of fake documents in 2001.

She will be lodged in the central jail till next hearing, official sources said.
