Chavan on Sunday said he would like to take the Opposition and all others concerned along with him in meeting the challenges posed in the aftermath of the Mumbai attacks. “We are planning to meet the opposition members immediately after the state Assembly meets on Monday to condole the terror victims and for discussing the plan to improve the security measures in the state and other acute problems as well,” he said.

However, the opposition does not seem to be in a mood to cooperate. The Shiv Sena-BJP led opposition launched a vituperative attack on Chavan and said the CM did not even observe the ordinary courtesy of inviting them to discuss the government’s plan to deal with fallout of the terrorist attacks In Mumbai.
