Prakash Amritraj-Rohan Boppana pair moved into the doubles semifinals after Paradorn Srichaphan withdrew following an injury to his left thigh, the ATP officiall announced on Friday night.
Srichaphan combining with Stepanek was scheduled to meet the Indian pair.
In the first match of the evening, Vliegen literally mauled Srichaphan, a finalist for the last four years having won the title in 2003, at 6-1 6-2, making it as the shortest match in the tournament this edition.
In the second match on the centre court, Moya, known as a late starter could get his moorings early in the first set and led 2-0.

However, Phau managed to win the game with an immaculate passing shot.
