Chess tourney from April 8

DR BHIMRAO Ambedkar Memorial Chess Tournament will be organised at Mathur Vaishy Bhavan, E-3/48 Arera Colony, from April 8 under of the aegis of Academy of Chess Education (ACA).

According to an ACA press release, players of any age can participate in the tournament. The winners will be awarded with the trophies and prizes.

Veterans for Nat’l badminton
PRADEEP SARKAR, Jai Singh, Dr Pradeep Sharma, Basant Soni, Malay Kumar Dey and Deepak Shrivastava have been selected to represent the State in the National Badminton (veterans) Championship to be played in Cuttack. The selected players will leave on April 3.
