BCCI chief curator Kasturirangan inspected the progress of work at the pitch being laid for the April 2 India-Pakistan one-dayer.

BCCI chief curator Kasturirangan on Saturday inspected the progress of work at the pitch being laid for the April 2 India-Pakistan one-dayer at the International stadium at Kaloor.

"This will be a batting wicket," Kasturirangan told reporters here.

Preparations are going on smoothly, he said adding, the pitch would be an ideal one-day track.
