Citizens' forum flays girls dancing in marriages

The Jind Senior Citizens' Forum (SCF) has criticised the practice of girls dancing during marriage functions on Bollywood numbers. The SCF has passed a resolution in this regard at a meeting held in Jind on Sunday. "Parents should not support their daughters to dance during marriage processions," forum president Inder Singh Bhardwaj said. Dancing girls attracted unwanted attention and spread obscenity in society, he added.
