Apropos the article ‘No designated No.2 in Modi absence this time’ published in Hindustan Times on Monday (April 13, 2015), it is clarified that the cabinet secretary had issued a circular on April 9 stating that the Prime Minister has directed urgent business may be put up before the home minister during the PM’s foreign tour from April 9 to 17. The circular was marked to five senior ministers only.
