Clayton Benjamin Lambert

Lambert began his cricketing career as a student in New Amsterdam, Guyana. Prior to representing USA, Lambert played for the West Indies.

After playing for the Guyana National Team for six and a half years, he had the opportunity to make his Test debut in 1991. A good showing in the domestic circuit convinced the West Indies selectors to give the opener a berth in the West Indies team.

Quick footed he uses this strength to hit the ball hard. An intelligent batsman he plays within his abilities.
