The shifting of weather system has resulted in an end to the rainfall activity in the state and the skies have become largely clear over the entire state. The met office has said that by Monday, the skies would become totally clear in the state.

The City has not received any rains since Saturday morning, though the skies remained partially cloudy. The day temperature that had slumped to 20.1 degrees C on Friday has also risen and was recorded at 27.4 degrees on Sunday, though it’s still appreciably below the normal of the season. Even the night temperature in city continues to be on lower side and was recorded at 14.7 degrees on Sunday.

Director of Regional Meteorological Centre Dr D P Dubey said that the temperatures would now start rising since the weather has cleared out. The weather system, caused by an upper air cyclonic circulation, caused havoc in the state for more than a week with heavy bouts of rains and hailstorm and caused extensive damage to the life and property.
