The pension scheme to aged women under DWACRA scheme will provide social security to them in the evening of their lives, Reddy said during a roadshow here.
"Women who are aged more than 60 years will get a pension of not less than Rs 500 per month" he said.
Taking a dig at the opposition 'Grand Alliance' comprising TDP, Left parties and TRS, Reddy said "the Left parties who had once labeled TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu as the stooge of the World Bank now have an electoral understanding with him. Political morality, ethics and principles are a casualty."
The TRS, which has a one point agenda of a separate statehood for Telangana, "has forgotten the issue and turned its ire against Congress", the Chief Minister alleged.
