CHIEF MINISTER Shivraj Singh Chouhan today announced that the gifts he received would be auctioned to gather funds for poverty-alleviation schemes.
“The process will get underway six months later. I am a ‘kisan ka beta’ (son of a farmer) and by virtue of that fact I know better the problems of the poor and peasants,” he said while addressing a public meeting at this township in Vidisha district.

Among those present were state Public Relations Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Minister of State for Culture Lakshmikant Sharma, Public Health Engineering Minister Rampal Singh and several other people’s representatives.
