CM to distribute cheques today

CHIEF Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav will distribute cheques under the unemployment allowance and Kanya Vidya Dhan schemes among beneficiaries of Allahabad and Kaushambi districts at Parade Ground here on Friday. Later, he will also address a public meeting before leaving for Mirzapur. The beneficiaries are required to reach the collection centre by 6 am. Altogether, 34 collection centres have been set up with 14 in the urban area and the rest 20 in the rural areas.

The beneficiaries are required to reach the collection centre by 6 am.

Altogether, 34 collection centres have been set up with 14 in the urban area and the rest 20 in the rural areas.

There will be an arrangement of 740 buses for the arrival and departure of beneficiaries and they are not supposed to come with their personal vehicles.

Seven sectors have been created for parking near the venue. They have been divided into the sectors of trans-Yamuna area, one for city side, two for trans-Ganga area, one for Kaushambi, one for VIPs, one for Press and one will be reserved.

Beneficiaries belonging to rural areas will be provided with breakfast and lunch packets, which will be distributed after the function.

No beneficiary will be allowed to carry luggage. They will be allowed entry on showing identity cards.

There will be the deployment of 9 SPs, 36 DySPs, 99 SOs, 275 sub-inspectors, 1,900 constables, 19 female sub-inspectors, 64 female constables and 4 companies of PAC.

LCD projectors are being set up for the live telecast of the function. This arrangement is being made for the beneficiaries who will be seated in the last sector.

Altogether, Rs 1.66 crore are being spent on the function. A finance committee has been established to maintain transparency in expenditure. There will be the installation of Suryadwar on the way leading to the stage. A welcome song will be presented by students on the arrival of the CM. Among other arrangements, six split ACs have been arranged for the CM and other officials who will be seated on the stage.

Two Swiss cottages have also been arranged for the CM and chief secretary.
