Colgate to appoint Calmeyer as MD

Calmeyer would be appointed in place of Graeme Dalziel, who would resign on May 31.

Colgate Palmolive India Ltd, a 51 per cent subsidiary of Colgate Palmolive Company, USA, said on Thursday that it will appoint Roger D Calmeyer as its Managing Director.

The board of directors of the company passed a resolution to appoint Calmeyer as MD for a period of five years with effect from June 1, subject to Central government and shareholders approval, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Calmeyer would be appointed in place of Graeme Dalziel, who would resign on May 31 following his appointment as General Manager and Vice President Colgate Palmolive, France.
