Collage beat City Gymkhana

Parwinder Singh's 81 and Sanjay Bambal's 41 helped Collage cross the 200-run mark, reports Heena Zuni Pandit.

THE DDCA Hot-Weather tournament is witnessing some interesting games. This was evident on Tuesday as Collage Group beat City Gymkhana (CG) by 32 runs at the Jamia Grounds.

Collage set City Gymkhana a target of 217 runs to win. Parwinder Singh's 81 and Sanjay Bambal's 41 helped Collage cross the 200-run mark.

In reply, opener Shashi Ranjan started off well for CG, hitting 49 but could not survive Collage's bowling attack. For Collage, Waqar Ahmad took three for 43 to send CG packing.

Collage Group: 216 all out in 39.5 ovrs (P Singh 81, S Bambal 41, A Sonkar 33; J Baduriya 2-32) beat CG: 184 all out in 37.5 ovrs (S Ranjan 49, S. Bahadur 47; W Ahmad 3-43, A Ahmad 2-27).
