Commission appointed to probe Jamia violence

A Commission has been nominated to enquire into the violence at the Jamia Millia University on July 18.

A Commission under Justice SK Aggarwal, a former Delhi High Court judge, has been nominated to enquire into the violence and destruction of public property at the Jamia Millia University on July 18.

The Commission has invited written statements regarding the incident by way of affidavits along with supporting documents so as to reach its office at 24, Khan Market, New Delhi-03 latest by August 4.

The preliminary hearing has been fixed on August 5 at the Committee Room, Nehru Guest House, Jamia Millia Campus.
