A project-level monitoring committee (PLMC) comprising representatives of the concerned ministries of the central government and relevant subject matter specialists will undertake periodic review of the environment issues, an official statement said.

A high-level inter-ministerial review committee consisting of secretaries of the Environment, Power, Social Justice and Water Resources ministries at the Centre will periodically review the environment, rehabilitation and resettlement issues and also review the recommendations of the PLMC, it added.
