COMPUTERISATION OF RTOs in the State will help in rendering better service. Now all official work including permit surrender, vehicle surrender, no objection certificate (NOC) and other works will be done through computers.
RTO personnel will be trained at a camp in Bhopal.
A computer training camp for department employees was held in Gwalior under the guidance of Indore-Ujjain division Deputy Transport Commissioner Upendra Jain recently.
On the occasion, Jain gave information about computerisation of the department through projector. He also informed the gathering about simplification of official work through modernisation of department. Computerisation will increase working capacity and quality of work, he added.
Jain said the people could now know about any vehicle by messaging its registration number on mobile number 98270-20002 or logging on the department’s website (www-.mptransport.org).
Regional Transport Officers, District Transport Officers and Additional RTOs also participated in the programme. The computerisation work was carried out by the Madhya Pradesh Transport Department.
