Alleging large-scale booth capturing and casting of false votes by BJP supporters, the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress on Tuesday urged the Election Commission that repolling be ordered in the entire Jhalawar Lok Sabha seat, from where Dushyant Singh, son of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is in the fray.

Thirteen presiding officers of the constituency have informed in writing about "booth capturing and manhandling by BJP workers during the May 5 polls, but the EC ordered repoll only at 13 polling stations on May 7," said BD Kalla, leader of opposition in the assembly said in Jaipur.

Owning the moral responsibility for her son's "electoral bungling" Raje should resign, Kalla demanded.

The additional superintendent of police and additional district magistrate were also attacked by the BJP workers at Manoharthana Assembly segment when the police party went to seize a jeep used for booth capturing, Kalla alleged.

FIR was registered against BJP MLA Jagannath Verma and four others by the Jhalawar police, he said.

Kalla, accompanied by Congress candidate Sanjay Gurjar, who contested against Dushyant, said the chief minister was a blind spectator to the incidents.

He said a delegation of the PCC would soon meet the Chief Election Commissioner and apprise him of the matter.
