The chaos which happened in Lok Sabha on Friday was engineered by the Congress party, YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy claimed on Monday.

Andhra Pradesh MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, who is opposed to Telangana's formation, used pepper spray in the Lok Sabha, triggering unprecedented clashes and leaving 16 MPs suspended.

"Congress has engineered the chaos in the house. Who is the person who opened the pepper spray in Parliament? It was Lagadapati Rajagopal, the same person who a few days ago happened to be a Congress person," said Reddy.

The YSR Congress chief along with people from different parts of Andhra Pradesh has come to the national capital and are staging a protest at Jantar Mantar in central Delhi.

"Of the MPs suspended, majority of them belong to Seemandhra. Now there is nobody to protest in the well of the House. So, the Congress party plotted it. The only way they could do is create a scene," added Reddy.

Reddy is also among the 16 MPs suspended from the Lok Sabha by the speaker.
