"Bajrang Dal, Srirama Sena, BJP and even some ministers are responsible for the outbreak of clashes," leader of opposition in the assembly N Dharam Singh told a press conference after a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party meeting in Bangalore. State Congress unit president M Mallikarjun Kharge was also present.

Singh alleged the government headed by Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy was responsible for the violence.

He said the Congress will not file any affidavit before the UL Bhat commission of inquiry appointed to probe alleged irregularities and corruption in mining activities in Bellary and other areas as the party wanted a CBI investigation.
