At the same time, Congressmen, who had lost their deposits in the last election, have been asked not to make any request for tickets.

Today’s joint convention of all frontal organisations of the party, also adopted a resolution asking Congressmen to hoist party flags on their rooftops for the next four weeks. Congressmen have been asked to inform at least 10 persons about the achievements of the UPA Government and the failure of Mulayam Singh Yadav Government on the law and order front. Congress activists have also been asked to hold at least one ‘jan adalat’ every week for the same purpose.

AICC in-charge for frontal organisations Oscar Fernandes said the Congress would not be able to win the Vidhan Sabha polls without cooperation of its frontal organisations. All party wings should come forward to strengthen the Congress in UP, he said.
