Demanding an apology from Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) leaders submitted a memorandum to Governor Balram Jakhar and urged action against those involved in the attack at Sarora village.

Arvind Bhadoria, in charge of BJP affairs for Bada Malehra, charged the BJ chief with instigating the violence. He turned the tables on the BJ, saying when he and other BJP workers were returning from Sarora, about 1,000 people accompanying Prahlad Patel attacked them with stones and axes.

In an angry retort, BJ national general secretary Patel dared the BJP leaders to prove the charge. He challenged the BJP to name tghose who owned the vehicles in Bhadoria’s motorcade.

Backing to the hilt Uma, the Congress condemned the attack on her. In the memorandum, the BJ demanded that the State Government be dismissed and the Chhatarpur SP be sacked.
