Cong leader killed in attack

Terrorists opened fire on Congress block President of Doda Mohammed Jameel when he was on the campaign trail for the party candidate Lal Singh in Mawda in the district, the sources said.

A Congress leader was shot dead by terrorists in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir early on Friday, official sources said in Jammu.

Jameel was critically injured in the firing and was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
