Addressing a series of public meetings at Kirpind, Phinder, Slehar, Rathana, Kalyana, Bala Chak and Salam Chak areas of RS Pura assembly segment, Member Legislative Council (MLC) and PDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha segment Yash Pal Sharma said: “There has been total mess and anarchy in state in the last five years because those at the helm of the affairs have been brazenly indulged into looting the state.”

“Except looting the state there is no consensus between two coalition partners on all other issues”, he pointed out, adding: “Both Congress and NC entered into an alliance with one aim and that was to loot the state.”

Sharma said it was the result of good governance of the previous PDP-led coalition that there was realisation among all sections of society that only PDP has a vision and commitment to address their aspirations.

He added that during PDP led regime all regions were treated equally and special attention was paid towards backward and neglected areas.

“Unlike National Conference, PDP leadership has never compromised with its principles for the power,” he said.

Earlier Sharma installed a transformer at Krishna Nagar near Miran Sahib from the constituency development fund (CDF) on the demand of local people.
