Cong rules out poll alliance with Trinamool

Alliance is possible only if Trinamool severs all ties with the NDA.

The Congress has ruled out an electoral alliance with the Trinamool Congress in the coming West Bengal assembly polls unless it severed ties with the National Democratic Alliance.

Pranab Mukherjee has said that an electoral alliance with the Trinamool Congress is possible only if it comes out of the NDA and takes the lead in fulfilling the aspirations of the "secular, democratic and progressive forces" in the state.
