Latest trends show the Congress leading in six of 13 parliamentary seats in Gujarat for which trends were available and the BJP in seven.

The Congress is leading in almost all the areas affected by communal riots two years ago.
The BJP was leading in Bhavnagar, Surat, Surendra Nagar, Vadodara, Godhra, Patan and Kutch, while the Congress was leading in Mandvi, Chhota Udaipur, Banaskantha, Amreli, Junagadh and Sabarkantha.
Gujarat has 26 Lok Sabha seats.
