"Since we have no organisational base, we will get 20 seats in UP, otherwise we would have got over 40 seats as there is a strong undercurrent in favour of the Congress in the state," Jaiswal, who was here to attend a Security and Identity Management (SIM) conference at the IIM-A, told reporters on the sidelines of the function.

When asked how Congress will get 20 seats when it apparently has no organisational base in the country's largest state, he said despite that Congress will get 20 seats.

Jaiswal also exuded confidence that his party will emerge as the single largest party after the Lok Sabha polls and will form the government at the centre with its coalition partners.

When asked to comment on the ongoing tussle between Samajwadi Party leaders, Azam Khan and Amar Singh, he said that it was an internal matter of SP.
