Congress leads in 16 seats, BJP in five and others in one in Rajasthan Assembly elections, according to the initial trends available in Jaipur.

Counting of votes for 200 assembly seats began on Monday in Rajasthan, where the Congress is pitted against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The vote count will decide the fate of 2,193 candidates.
"The first result is expected by 11 am while a majority of results should be declared by late in the afternoon," an Election Commission official told IANS.
Nealry 67 per cent of 36 million voters exercised their franchise December 4 to elect a new government. The BJP won 120 seats in 2003.
