"Congress will not tolerate Thakur's repeated criticism of AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi who is an icon of the Nehru-Gandhi family which has made great sacrifices for the nation, state party spokesman Kuldeep Rathore told reporters in Shimla.

"Why Thakur, who has only three years standing in his party, should have any objection if Gandhi was concerned about the problem of common men and downtrodden," he asked.

Recently Thakur had said Rahul Gandhi, who travels all over the country to mobilise the youth, "is not a challenge to him".

Rathore alleged that Thakur had no agenda except to criticise Gandhi and demanded public apology from the state BJP leadership for his "irresponsible" behaviour.
