A few years back cooking for a living is what one was limited to do. These days, however, there are a lot more options open for people who have trained in culinary.

There has been a rise in the number of celebrity chefs around the world. There a writers of cookbooks, culinary adventures, cooking shows of different moulds which include teaching people how to cook to traveling the world to experience different cuisines. So how does one become a chef? There are schools which have long since been training people abroad.

The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and le Cordon Bleu culinary school are perhaps the most prestigious institutions. If one wishes to study in India the institutes of hotel management provide courses in this field. To become a chef is not a risky option today. In fact it can be a highly lucrative job option and certainly worth considering.
