Two of the security personnel placed at the Indian team hotel in Lahore have been suspended for allowing their relatives to approach Sachin Tendulkar for autograph inside the hotel's premises, reports said.

The breach of security occurred on Thursday and was reported to the Pakistan Cricket Board security officer Sohail Khan, a senior ranking police officer in charge of coordinating the security arrangements for the team, 'The News' reported on Saturday.

The report said that the Indian team management had brought the incident to the notice of Sohail Khan after some people knocked on Tendulkar's hotel room door seeking autographs from the champion batsman besides requesting him to be photographed with them.

Indian team's media manager GS Walia said that they were quite satisfied with the security provided despite the security breach. "We are satisfied with the security measures," he said.

The security authorities in Lahore are concerned with the incident and have taken measures to ensure it was not repeated and have also beefed up the security for the team.
