Additional District Judge Mazhar Muhammad Sultan granted bail to SI Manoj Negi and constables Harendra Bist and Ravindra Kumar after considering MLA Rajkumar's medical report which claimed that the injuries caused to him were not serious nor was there any motive to kill him, Defence Counsel Prithvipal Singh Chauhan said.

Later, sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 147 (punishment for rioting) of the IPC were also withdrawn against the three policement by the Prosecution, Chauhan said.
