It was only after a series of meetings and deliberations for months that various residents’ welfare associations of DLF City finally agreed to allow the developer company to enhance maintenance charges.

About 85% residents are now paying the revised maintenance rate of Rs 2.5 per sq yard per month since April, according to DLF management officials.

The services provided against maintenance charges include water supply, public health services, road re-surfacing and cleaning, garbage disposal, signage, maintenance of parks and green-belts and debris removal.
