Judge AY Sheikh directed the police to investigate the case filed by an ex-Captain David Alice after the company allegedly refused to allot a petrol pump to him near Dholka town of Ahmedabad district and also refused to return his deposit money of Rs 5 lakh.

The ex-serviceman had applied for the petrol pump a few years back and had also signed a letter of intent with Reliance for this purpose.

The case has been filed against Reliance Petroleum and 12 employees of both RIL and RPL.
