"Now BJP is resorting to politics of bargaining, which is unethical. As there is no political stability in the state, only the people should decide the fate of the state and they can have this chance only if the assembly is dissolved and mid-term poll convened," CPI-M central committee member J S Majumdar said.

He alleged that the week-long political uncertainty had left the state administration paralysed and developmental work affected.

BJP national general secretary Arjun Munda, however, rejected the allegations saying the administration was functioning 'normally'.

"So long we don't withdraw the support the administration's functioning is constitutional," he said.

Jharkhand plunged into political uncertainty after Soren, an MP, voted for UPA in Lok Sabha on a cut motion on April 27 and the subsequent announcement of withdrawal of support by BJP the next day.
