'Let Vijayan not interfere in JD(S) affairs. It is our party and not the CPI(M) which will decide who should be our representative in the state Cabinet', he said addressing a party meeting in Kozhikode last night.

Veerendrakumar was replying to Vijayan's remarks that the JD(S), whose lone Minister resigned from Cabinet recently in the wake of CPI(M) taking over Kozhikode Lok Sabha seat from it, would be represented in the LDF ministry soon after polls.

"If Vijayan is going to decide our party affairs then the JD(S) party office can very well be moved to the AKG Centre (CPI(M) headquarters)," he said.

Asking Vijayan to first take care of the problems in the Marxist party, Veerendrakumar said `CPI(M) is facing a series of problems including the SNC Lavalin case.
