"Enough is enough. Government should come out with a solution and immediately rescind the order of land grant to ensure smooth conduct of Amarnath Yatra," leaders of CPI (M), Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum and J and K Democratic Party told reporters in Srinagar on Saturday.

Emerging from a meeting with Governor N N Vohra, CPI (M) state secretary M Y Tarigami, JKDF president Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen and JKDP president Ghulam Hassan Mir said, "Communal forces should not be allowed to take advantage of the situation."

Noting that return of the land in question to the forest department would solve the issue, Tarigami said the government should take the initiative to find a solution that is acceptable to all.

Tarigami cautioned that the stalemate had put the very peace process at stake.
"Any delay in solving the issue will affect the course of development and derail the peace process between India and Pakistan," he said.
