NOT LONG but focussed preparation was needed to crack CAT, which was more of an aptitude test, opined six students of Career Launcher who had got admission into top B-Schools.

Three got final calls from various IIMs. Results like these coming in the very first year of their launch led Career Launcher to hold an interactive session between the achievers and the Press in Indore today.

Meetali Jain, Aadesh Sharma and Aditya Jain got offers from various IIMs and Siddarth Bakliwal, Noopur Kawathekar, Saurabh Deshlehra, Roopali Jain and Abhishek Mundra from other equally good B-Schools of the country.

Not more than six hours a day were spent on studies with focus on core area of competence in which they wished to make their career and regular reading of newspapers to update themselves on current events and also prepare for ‘answer the passage’ type questions.

Strategic classroom learning sessions, regular test practice and GD PI sessions helped in clearing CAT. This coupled with the inimitable style of teaching, understanding potential of students, indispensable course material and personalised attention provided by the institute worked as a support group lowering tension level while boosting confidence levels.

Meetali Jain had got final calls from four IIMs including Calcutta, Lucknow, Indore and Kozhikode but decided to go in for Calcutta in her pursuit of finance.
