Cricket tourney for doctors

TO PROVIDE some relief and enjoyment to doctors from their otherwise hectic life, the Association of Private Medical Practitioners (APMP), Bhopal, is organising a tennis ball night cricket tournament.

Mayor Sunil Sood would inaugurate the tournament at Central Library grounds on May 31. Eight teams of doctors would participate in the tournament that would continue till June 4, APMP president Dr Shyam Agrawal said today.

The participant teams are Gandhi Medical College and Hamidia Hospital, People’s Dental College, Indian Dental Association, Chirayu Hospital, Ayushman Hospital, APMP President’s XI, and APMP Secretary’s XI.

The inaugural match would be played between GMC–2 and APMP President’s XI.
