Infiltration was impossible after India had fenced the Line of Control, planted landmines along it and took several other protective measures to stop terrorists from entering its territories, Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz told reporters on Wednesday.

His comments came a day after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said during his Independence Day address that Pakistan should honour its commitments to not to let its soil to be used for terrorism against India.

The Pakistani Premier said the world was a witness to Pakistan's role in the US-led war or terror, state-run APP news agency reported.

He also called upon India to resolve the Kashmir issue to ensure peace in the region.

About the opposition's plan to bring a no-confidence motion against him, Aziz said he was ready to face it, adding that the opposition would get nothing out of it.

"The opposition lacks a vision and is wasting its time on non-issues," he said.
