As soon as proceedings for the day started in the House on Thursday, PDP members Syed Asgar Ali, Asraf Mir, Nizamudin Khatna created ruckus, demanding discussion on the death of Altaf Ahmad Wani and prevailing turmoil in the Valley.

NC member Basheer Ahmad Veeri too stood on his seat demanding discussion on the issue.
While Panthers Party member Rafiq Shah demanded suspension of the business to hold discussion on the killings of five CRPF men who were killed in a fidayeen attack in Srinagar on Wednesday and breakdown of law and order in the Valley.

Earlier, deputy speaker Sartaj Madni had rejected the similar adjournment motion moved by the Panthers Party in the legislative assembly.

Ashraf Mir alleged, "Altaf Ahmad Wani was killed in an unprovoked firing. On Wednesday night, a curfew was imposed in the Kashmir Valley. What is the situation on the ground at this moment?"

Rafiq Shah said, "I want suspension of business and want discussion on the total collapse of law and order in the state. The government has totally failed to tackle law and order in the state".

The legislative council chairman in order to bring house in order asked the agitating members to raise the issue after the question hour.

"If you have any demand, give it in the writing and then I will take a decision on the matter". This assurance too did not pacify the agitating members, who kept on shouting. The chairman again intervened and said, "Do not shout. There are some rules and regulations under which the house proceeding are conducted".

Congress Member Jehagir Member stood on his seat and lamented, "There is only concern for a one individual while members have not uttered a word of sympathy for the five CRPF men who were killed while performing their duties".

Another Congress member Jugal Kishore too stood on his seat expressing concern over the demise of five CRPF men.

PDP members remained firm on their demand seeking half an hour to discuss the issue.
The chairman while lashing out at agitating members, said, "You cannot dictate terms to house. Today is last day of four members who are retiring today. We have to take their questions also".

Finding hard to restore order in the house, the chairman ordered marshalling out all the agitating members.

PDP and Jammu and Kashmir Panthers' Party members were marshalled out from the house.
