A CRPF jawan has allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance in Kullian village of the district, police said on Sunday.
Jawan Rakesh Kumar (28), consumed some poisonous substance at his home in Kullian village of RS Pura, about 35 km from Jammu, on Saturday night, the police said, adding he was on a month-long leave.

Kumar was admitted to a hospital where he died, they said, adding a case has been registered and investigation was on.
