CRPF move into interior villages in Nandigram

CRPF enters troubled area in Nandigram after fresh violence breaks out.

Fresh violence broke out on Monday night in two interior villages of Garchakraberia and Tekhalibazar areas in troubled Nandigram after which CRPF personnel entered those places.

Though no police confirmation of the violence was available, sources in anti-farmland acquisition Bhumi Ucched Pratirodh Committee said CRPF personnel had entered some villages in the two areas.

Meanwhile, BUPC member Milan Pradhan said three rape victims of Garchakraberia were admitted to Nandigram hospital this evening.

He alleged they were raped when their village was attacked on Sunday allegedly by CPI(M) activists.
