CRPF post in Manipur attacked, 2 killed

After heavily armed militants attacked a post of 132nd CRPF battalion at Wangu, about 60 km south east of here late last night, the security personnel also started firing, they said.

In the shoot out, a militant and a jawan were killed.

A pistol was recovered from near the body of the militant who was yet to be identified.

Police and security men started a combing operation to arrest the militants who had fled to the nearby hilly jungles.
