Corporator: Abhay Seth, who held clout in the last house, when he was also the deputy mayor of the city. He is accused in a murder case and was in news for a non-bailable warrant issued against him. Not contesting this year, but has bigger plans.

RESIDENT OF Chandralok Colony Shambhu Nath says, “We have problem of water logging in the area. Every year, drains choke during the rainy season.”

Another resident Saurabh Bhargava regretted, “We have problem of waste disposal and regular cleaning since the colony is situated near a graveyard. We never have proper fogging done in the area.”

Housewife Nikita Tewari says, “I feel frustrated by the scant water supply in the area. Sometimes, we have to fetch water from hand pumps located far away.

All we get is one hour of water supply throughout the day, hardly enough to fill up the water tank.”

“Water supply in Bindia Tola, Shekhupur, Sector E and Sector F areas of Aliganj is poor, complains resident Narendra Agarwal. Water is supplied at a very low pressure and all our requests to the Jal Sansthan to raise the pressure, have fallen on deaf ears.”

He adds, “I got sewer lines laid down in all the wards. Roads in my ward are the best. If you sit in a car with a cup of tea, I guarantee it will not spill out due to bad roads. My ward is the best in the city. No corporator has done such work in any area,” claimed Abhay Seth.

The Ward gets 7 out of 10, the ward looses numbers due to water problem , water logging, poor drainage system in the ward.
