The BCCI curator here has said the pitch at Nehru Stadium at Margao in South Goa, the venue for the third ODI between India and England on April 3, is likely to be a 'slow track'.

Mr Vishwanathan, who took charge of pitch preparation, said it would be difficult to produce a fast track as a lot of football has been played on the ground during the last four years.
He said he would try his best to prepare a good wicket for the third one-dayer but felt that the pitch will be on the slower side.
The curator complimented the local ground staff for doing a good job of laying the foundation of the main square. He hoped that the pitch would be ready by March 25, a week before the match.
Meanwhile, Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) Executive Director V M Prabhudesai said the stadium will be refurbished before March 31 and a sight screen is also being installed at the venue.
