This should be done to give right direction to the youths who were blindly following western culture, he added. Joshi made this statement at a seminar on ‘Changing Curriculum (primary and secondary), Falling Standard and Increasing Commercialisation’ at KP Community Hall.

Speaking as the chief guest, he urged the teachers to become a torchbearer of the Indian culture and tradition. The seminar was organised jointly by Pradhanacharya Parishad, Madhyamik Sikshak Sangh and the Young Lawyers’ Association.

Presiding over the seminar, former Judge of the Allahabad High Court Justice (retd) Sudhir Narain said that there were some shortcomings from the side of the government and the teacher. “These shortcomings must be removed,” he said.

Addressing the seminar, MLC Yagya Dutt Sharma said, “We should be united against the unnecessary changes in the curriculum.”

Earlier, president of the Young Lawyers’ Association Santosh Kumar Tripathi welcomed the guests.
