On Father’s Day, HT City asked a few tinseltown celebrities what their dads mean to them. Here’s what they had to say...

Koena Mitra
My father has always supported me ever since the beginning and has always been there for me. I feel privileged to have him by my side whenever I need him. I stay by myself in Mumbai and miss him a lot. I would have liked to spend this day with him.

I am a lot like my father in terms of our personalities. He is so calm and composed that I aspire to be just like him. I’ve learned a lot from him and have always looked up to him for everything. I am really proud to have him as my father.

Shazahn Padamsee
My father is both a buddy and mentor to me. My fondest memories are of us going to our beach house near Alibagh once a month together. Even though we both have hectic schedules, we still continue the ritual.

Jackky Bhagnani
Whatever I do for my dad, I can never match up to what he has done for me. I just hope to make him proud of me — both
as a son and as an actor. Whatever I am today, I am because of my dad.

Neetu Chandra
My father is a great guy — strong, silent and a man of principles. On Father’s Day, I plan to buy him a collection of his favourite music.

Deepika Padukone
As far as my loved ones are concerned, everyday is special and important and I’ll treasure every moment.
