In a tongue in cheek version of Leonardo Da Vinci's "Last Supper", England's soccer captain, David Beckham has been transformed into Jesus Christ.
According to a report in the website scotsman.com, the reworking of Da Vinci's masterpiece by a team of Photoshop experts is titled Sven's Last Supper. It depicts Sven-Goran Eriksson, the England coach, as Mary Magdalene. Beckham is shown seated at the centre of the table.
The picture has been created to mark the launch of entertainment channel UKTV G2's World Cup coverage.
The designers, according to the report, were so inspired by the Dan Brown box- office blockbuster The Da Vinci Code, that they have riddled the iconic painting with hidden meanings and messages.

With barely 5 days left for the World Cup 2006 to kick-off, England skipper David Beckham revealed that he would cry like a baby if he gets the chance to lift the World Cup for his country. The soccer star is also confident of lifting the cup keeping in mind his and his team mates’ fitness levels.
Beckham, who boards the plane to Germany on June 5, admitted that he would shed unashamed tears of joy if he lifts the World Cup in Berlin on July 9.

At 31, Real Madrid star Beckham knows it's now or never for him to seize the moment.
Beckham is England's third fittest player, according to tests taken by the squad as they prepare for Germany. The star was criticised for being unfit in the World Cup in 2002 and at Euro 2004, but he has proved he is in the shape of his life. This time Beckham says the fitness levels are "exceptional".
He said: "Yes, I'm up there in the top three, and that's great — there's Frank Lampard, Gary Neville and me. But everyone is at a good level, no one's fitness is bad."
Beckham hopes he will still be in good enough shape and form to feature in the next World Cup. However, he will be 35 by then, so he also realises this may be his last chance.
He said: "I would love to still be playing at the next World Cup, but I know this could be my last so I hope it's a special one — special for me and the team."
