DAVV acting Vice Chancellor (V-C) Dr Rajkamal said that three important agendas would be presented for sanctioning by the university in the meeting that would be attended by over a hundred academicians including heads of departments, deans and readers.

The most important issue concerns granting honorary doctorate by the university to seven renowned personalities of the country. The proposal had been drawn up at a recent meeting of the Executive Committee (EC) and presented by Dr Rajkamal to the Chancellor and Governor Dr Balram Jakhar.

A committee sent by the Chancellor recently gave its approval and the matter will now be presented at this forum after which it will be presented at the EC meeting, scheduled on October 11 for final approval.

The matter of giving affiliation to colleges for conducting B Ed courses will also be presented before the Vidya Parishad. During the annual general body meet of the Parishad, the proposals drafted by it’s permanent committee during their meetings held every month, will also be finalized. All the matters pertaining to the university, after getting clearance here, will finally be presented at the EC meet.
